A Better Life By Valentine’s Day – Part 1

We at Chen’s Acupuncture in Seattle/Bellevue, WA recently had a conversation with a patient of ours. Let’s call her Abigail. (This is not her real name.)  Abigail was suffering from a number of common conditions:

Headaches

Fatigue

Frequent pain

Reduced libido

We devised a four-week plan to get her back on track by Valentine’s Day. How, you ask? You see, we do more than just stick needles. Acupuncture was of course part of the plan, but there is a lot more that can be done that adds real value. Much of it you can do right at home. Moderate exercise and healthy eating are all part of it. Herbs, if needed. Sometimes the body needs to detox before a treatment or exercise regimen can be most effective. And it’s important to remember, oftentimes all it takes is a little bit extra for you to see real benefits.

How did Abigail do on her four-week plan? We’ll say more in a future post.
